Longtime Instore CEO Matt Niehaus has joined Slice. Matt will now serve as our Senior Vice President, Payments.
Matt Niehaus co-founded Instore in 2012 to provide restaurants and retailers with the POS technology they need to succeed. Slice subsequently acquired Instore in Q4 2020 to accelerate the development of our very own restaurant operating system. We were fortunate to also acquire Matt, his team, and their wealth of expertise.
As Instore’s CEO, Matt leveled the playing field for small business owners everywhere, including independent pizzerias. Above all, Matt shares our mission to Keep Local Thriving. I know his leadership will make Slice Register the preferred POS for shops across the U.S.
Slice has enabled thousands of pizzerias to compete with the likes of Domino’s. Yet, we’ve only scratched the surface. Matt and I are excited to grow the pie even further.
Prior to Instore, Matt held leadership roles at J.P. Morgan, Battery Ventures, R4 Global Solutions, and VeriSign. His career has been spent investing in start-ups, from funding to filling in vital technology gaps. We are delighted to have Matt lead the charge as we drive revenue growth for our own collective of bootstrappers.
