Get Discovered More Often with TripAdvisor and Slice

Every month, an estimated one in 16 people across the entire globe visit TripAdvisor to plan a trip. That’s 456 million people! Considering New York continues to break tourism records (62.8 million visitors in 2017), there’s a huge opportunity for local pizzerias to get in front of hungry customers as they explore the city.

As of November 2018, we’re excited to offer instant ordering added to your TripAdvisor listing. There’s no added action needed for members of the Slice family — you’ll automatically receive an online ordering button on your listing.

Optimize for online ordering

Now that customers can order directly through TripAdvisor, you’ll want to link your page to  your Slice menu. You can do this by going to “Menu” under the “Manage Listing” tab and typing or copying and pasting your Slice menu URL. You may get calls from customers who said they “ordered on TripAdvisor” inquiring about their orders — don’t worry, we’re still fulfilling the delivery! You can also visit to manage your listing, upload photos, and respond to customer reviews.

How To Use Your Listing To Drive Results

Being able to order directly from your pizzeria’s TripAdvisor listing is already a huge plus for customers, but there are a few things you can do to further increase visibility. Use your business description to highlight elements of your menu or venue that make you unique; be sure to include pictures, when you can! Listings with 11-20 photos receive double the interaction against competitive listings with less photos.
