Pittsburgh is the home of the Steelers, a boatload of bridges (446 of ’em, to be exact), and some especially delicious pizza.
That’s right – delicious pizza. And, true to the spirit of the city, these shops are still open for delivery, because you #CantStopPizza.
Here are just some of the hard-working pizzerias offering pickup and contact-free delivery in Pittsburgh:
Hawaiian pizza lovers can catch a wave of flavor with Brick N’ Mortar’s Maui Wowie pie – an elevated take on the classic. Bacon, ham, capicola, pineapple, scallion, brick cheese, Asiago, and a charred chili pepper aioli drizzle top this bold pizza, which could convert even the most ardent of pineapple pizza haters. Alternatively, for some serious heat, there’s the Diavolo Pizza, with banana peppers, red onions, roasted peppers, Romano, basil, and BnM’s own house made crumbled hot sausage.
There aren’t many shops that can offer quality pizza and deliciously buttery baklava, but Sunset Pizza & Grille in Carnegie does just that. We’re proponents of Sunset in part because of its versatility. Here, you can get a Meat Medley pizza with a side of jumbo wings on one night, then order again the next night for a Turkish feast complete with Borek and Cacik.
Since 1979, Nick’s has served up some of Castle Shannon’s most satisfying value deals. Their enormous steak calzone, for example, can double as a dumbbell for your at-home workout. Past the pizzas and the pizza-adjacent items, they’ve also got comfort food covered with fries, fried pickles, provolone sticks, and more.
Angelo’s Pizzeria serves up phenomenal pies in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Little Italy. Using fresh ingredients and the techniques passed down to him by his father, “Master Pizzero” Joe Posteraro aims to deliver Italian history and perfect bites with his offerings, including thin-crust and Sicilian pies. Also, in the Pittsburgh tradition, Angelo’s has a fantastic hoagie to satisfy every craving.
Iron Born Pizza
Chef Pete – a Kittanning native – tried his first Detroit-style pizza while on vacation…in Colorado. Go figure. After that, he returned home with a mission to bring those addictively delicious squares to Steel City. The menus rotate to reflect what’s fresh and in season; you may find the Forager Pie, topped with white sauce, mushrooms, ricotta, local honey, and herbs. Or, if you’re craving a kick, there’s the Spicy Pie with hot sopressata, pepperoni, hot honey, and housemade banana peppers.
Genoa brings Pittsburgh an old school experience with new school takes on pizza, including a unique selection of calzones. Here, you’ll find the standard options (meatball calzones) and with Saturday/Sunday football go-tos (buffalo chicken), plus their Seafood Calzone, which packs shrimp, crab meat, garlic, and white sauce all into one pizza pocket.

If this is your first rodeo at Pizza Parma, we might suggest starting with the Steak Rodeo pizza, which piles hot peppers, onions, mushrooms, fresh garlic, tomatoes, buffalo fries, mozzarella, provolone, and sirloin steak on top of one delicious pie. Or, if you’re feeling the buffalo fries but want a bit more in the way of ferocity, go for the Krunk Chicken pizza, with tomatoes, green peppers, fresh garlic, grilled chicken, and homemade tiger sauce, a blend of buffalo and ranch.
Sure, you could just get one or two of Mario’s pies and call it a day, but it wouldn’t be a complete meal without Mario’s Boneless Wing Dings, which can be tossed in your choice of sauce, including BBQ, Garlic, Honey BBQ, Garlic Parmesan, and Buffalo. Or, to keep things a bit less messy but equally tasty, get ‘em coated in Mario’s Wing Dust.
With homemade dough and bread baked on a daily basis, Picasso’s prides itself on making every meal a masterpiece.

If you come for the King, you best not miss their doughy pepperoni pie, which could satisfy the Steelers’ entire offensive line.
For a while, this spot in Carnegie, PA was a bit of a revolving door for restaurants. That was until a few years ago, when Pizza Americana brought its cheese-laden New York and Sicilian pies to the neighborhood. There are tons of toppings available here, but the Spinach/Tomato/Feta combo is among its most popular.

If you’ve never had an Capricciosa pizza before, Slice On Broadway would be a great place to start – prosciutto, artichoke hearts, black olives, mushrooms, and tomato sauce top this Italian classic that can be hard to find here in the States.
Pittsburgh-style pies topped with shish kabobs and Turkish pide (a.k.a giant boats of pizza)? Ephesus, you’ve got our attention.
