Most of the city is shut down, but you can’t stop Sacramento’s pizzerias.
These shops are still cookin’, thanks to contact-free delivery and pickup:
You could close your eyes and throw a dart at this menu – no matter what, you’ll end up with a fantastic (and generously-topped) pizza. But, if you’re looking for a good intro to the decidedly different pies at CAP’s, you might want to start with the Destroyer. Topped with Canadian bacon, ‘roni, peppers, onions, and sriracha sausage, it’s guaranteed to spice up your day. No matter which pie you choose, you’ll probably want an order of smoked cheese ravioli as a side for the whole table.

How many restaurants can say that they boast exceptional wood-fired pies and a bocce ball court? Even though bocce season is on hold, the ball is still rolling on delicious delivery.
We strongly recommend the lasagna-inspired Garfield Pizza, but also suggest leaving room for one of Federalist’s fantastic sandos such as the Roasted Tri Tip, with pickled peppers and arugula pesto that perfectly complements its beefy goodness.
Sacramento is fortunate to have an outpost of Extreme Pizza on Exposition Blvd, where you can get a host of exceptional vegetarian pies. That includes the Pandora’s Box Pizza, which is topped with practically half of your grocery store’s produce department (spinach, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, and oregano, plus feta and mozzarella).

A Spartan existence may be a good philosophy for day to day life, but that’s no way to approach pizza. That’s why Delish Pizza tops their Spartan pie with mozzarella, savory linguica, mushrooms, Italian sausage, chicken, crispy bacon, green onions, fresh tomatoes, and cheddar.
Not sure if you’re feeling Indian food or pizza tonight? Why choose? Chicago’s Pizza With A Twist can satisfy both cravings with Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and Tandoori Chicken pies. Or, for an epic merger of Italian and Indian cuisines, order the Desi Combination with pepperoni, mushrooms, red onions, peppers, olives, Italian sausage, garlic chicken, chopped garlic, ginger, green chiles, and fresh cilantro.

Their special 28” inch pies can feed a whole village…or just you plus a couple friends when you’re ready to attack a whole lot of pizza. Village Pizzeria also serves up some solid sandwiches and salads, perfect for a solo lunch.
Giovanni’s brings a slice of New York to Sacramento with inventive pies, including “Da Bronx Bomber Pizza” which comes loaded with pepperoni, salami, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, olives, and peppers. Pro tip: Giovanni’s also serves up a fine Sicilian – the Pesto version with Giovanni’s homemade pesto sauce, toasted pine nuts, and fresh tomatoes is a winner every time.
Pizza Supreme Being

No frills here, just remarkably delicious pizza made with a killer sourdough crust. the “plain” cheese pizza is anything but, thanks to a delicious three cheese blend and organic tomato sauce. But, if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous/tropical, there’s also the Hawaiian pie, made with spam, shaved jalapeno, and fresh pineapple. This local shop truly has it all, including a mantra of “Smile. Have Fun. Eat Pizza.” that you should repurpose to become your daily affirmation.
