Slice hires Jacqueline (Jac) Meyer as Chief People Officer

Hot off the heels of hiring PJ Oleksak as our Chief Business Officer, I’m thrilled to announce that Slice has hired Jacqueline (Jac) Meyer as our new Chief People Officer.

Jac joins us from Plated, a meal-kit service, where she was VP, People with accountability for all aspects of the People team including culture and engagement, recruiting, on-boarding, benefits, compensation, business partners, ER, learning and development. Prior to that, she spent eight years at Tapestry, a house of brands including Coach, Stuart Weitzman, and Kate Spade, where she held HR leadership roles including VP, HR for Coach North America and VP, Global People & Organizational Development.

Before her time at Tapestry/Coach, Jac worked at Accenture as its Senior Manager of Talent & Organization Performance. In this role, Jac also acted as an Accenture consultant to the City of New York. Jac holds a BSc in Business Administration from Georgetown University.

As our Chief People Officer, Jac will be a steward of Slice’s culture, mission, and values.  She will oversee all aspects of our People team including recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and learning and development. About her new role at Slice, she had this to say:

“I could tell from my first visits to the NY office that this was a special place with talented people. I believe people are the most important asset in any business and I’m excited to get to know and support all our teams across Macedonia, NY, and Belfast. And my love of pizza goes without saying… I’m Italian, my parents are from Brooklyn, my husband is from Chicago so I love thin crust, deep dish, and everything in between. I look forward to sharing many slices with the team!”

Welcome to Slice, Jac!
