Pinot Grigio + Margherita
Cavit was an early pioneer of Pinot Grigio, one of our favorite white wines for pizza. Light and sweet with just a hint of spice, it’s a perfect counterpart for rich, creamy cheeses (i.e. fresh mozzarella and burrata).
Cabernet Sauvignon + Meat Lover’s
Bright and medium-bodied, this Cab can basically complement any pizza. Want to go especially bold? Match its distinct blackberry, cherry, and plum flavors with an equally outgoing Meat Lover’s pie.
Oak Zero Chardonnay + Veggie Pie
You’ll get notes of citrus, apples, and tropical fruit, but not too much oak. That’s a good thing, because that allows this Chardonnay to line up well with your veggie-topped pizza.
Pinot Noir + Just About Anything
Pinot Noir is surprisingly versatile — a fine choice for everything from meat to fish. Grilled chicken? Anchovies? You can go either way when you’ve got Pinot Noir to go with your pizza.
Riesling + Bacon
Something sweet…but not too sweet. Cavit’s Riesling brings flavors of apricot, peach, and pear, while cleansing the palate beautifully between bites. All in all, it’s our go-to pick for cutting through salty bacon and ham.
